Wayne Doba and Andrea Conway, who respectively incarnate the zany personas of Dik and Mitzi, are two multi-talented international performers who decided a few years back to start working together as a classic comic vaudeville style, acrobatic slapstick, song and dance duo.
Inspired by such greats as Sid Caesar, Ray Bolger, Donald O'Connor and duos such as Laurel and Hardy, Fred and Ginger, Burns and Allen and of course Lucy and Ricky, Wayne and Andrea have managed to re-create "vintage vaudeville with a new twist."
In March 2007, after years of working many of their different numbers in variety shows for a range of international venues, they finally decided to make their own 2-person show assembling all of the material they have performed throughout the years: a lifetime of hard work.
Through nostalgic dance routines, precarious acrobatics, amazingly intricate tap dance and several novelty numbers, Dik and Mitzi take us on a journey to a time when entertainment was at its peak. Funny, touching, and original, this show is pure joy and entertainment.
