Wayne Doba is a veteran actor, dancer and comedian from the San Francisco scene; he has opened for acts such as Huey Lewis, Chris Isaac and Booker T, as well as playing roles in many films including Scarface and Funhouse and writing and performing no less than five one man shows.
His principal love, however, has been the art of Tap dancing at which he has become a master: the German press hailed him as a reincarnation of Fred Astaire when he perfomed in the Palazzo show in Vienna last year. In the past he has shared stages with tap legends Honi Coles, the Nicholas Brothers and Donald O'Connor.
To quote Michael Snyder of the San Francisco associated press: "He's a smooth, tap- dancin' fool, and his comedic timing - whether physical or verbal - is remarkable." Or as Donald O'Connor himself remarked -"He's a throwback to the old vaudeville days... I've seen the best of them and he even makes me laugh!"
Andrea Conway, a Montreal native, joined the Cirque du Soleil as an acrobat and clown after winning a bronze medal for the Canadian National gymnastics team at the Pan American games. She toured all over North America, Europe, and Asia with the Cirque for a decade before deciding to pursue a solo career. She has performed for the Jay Leno show, the Grammy awards with Peter Gabriel, and even with Michael Jackson! Other venues have been the Wintergarten in Berlin, the Palazzo in Vienna, Teatro Zinzanni in San Francisco and the Just for Laughs Festival in Montréal.
